Well, let's see now What to write today Shall it be of somber tone Or maybe just light and gay It could be about a lover Who broke my little heart Or a green and slimy ogre Who tore my head apart It could be about erotica That makes my body quiver Or about the wines effect On my spotted liver I could write about my lovey Who dumped me late last night Or how my tongue gets tangled When I say gemutlichkeit I'd like to pen a phrase or two About my feeling sad Or how my little did Got away from doo and dad I could loudly sing the praises Of my beautiful brunette Or my botulistic favorites At the local lucheonette The possibilities are endless From songs to sinks to smiles I'll pen a pip of blokes and chaps Over on the British Isles Ideas are bouncing back and forth I'm beginnig to palpitate I'd better get to writing Before it gets too late I...... The Lord said to me...Rusty I'll let you up, not down but write of wings and pretty things And..Don't ever make me frown I now write songs for angels That are carried on golden voice I only write g-rated I wasn't given a choice So all of you licentious libertines and poetic rakes Write me a line of color Cause I can't, For Heavensakes.

it is such a blessing to be able to write about God and the joy he brings. This is an awesome write and I enjoyed reading it in it's entirety.

Good Lord, Rusty-friend -- you constantly amaze me. You switch gears with poetry as often as most people change their underwear! This is another incredible write! I love it -- poor baby, I'll see if I can come up with a "line of color" for you (giggle & snort)

This is very clever writing, making poetry out of what to write a poem about. As Oscar Wilde once said to James MacNeil (if i got the name right) 'I wish I had said that.' In other words, I wish I had written this.
