Little froggy Clinging to The moonlit window, Lying in wait And enjoying An easy meal Of unsuspecting insects Drawn in by Our living room lights. How long You hang there, I do not know; One moment you’re there The next, you’re gone, But I’ve no doubt I’ll be seeing you Again, I’m certain that You’ll be back, Perhaps Tomorrow night.

Every night geckos crawl on my window for the very same reason, insects are drawn to the light. Reptiles and amphibians sense where the insects are and wait for them there. I guess that's why there are always toads on my deck.
