The storm labors to bring forth its children Sweat causes the humidity to rise First one cloud, then another, another Fast and furious, the children arrive
Hail scatters some of them across the sky Tears flood from her eyes in showers of rain The weaker ones are beaten black and blue She thunders her loss in loud cries of pain
The storm is sick and so very dizzy It just wants to lie down and get some rest It must tend the children that it has left Tornadoes suckle her low-hanging breasts
She hurls lightning to earth in her fury She promises justice from teary skies No one will be safe until she's cried out This is the reason why thunderstorms cry
This poem evoked a vivid and amazing image of a storm in my head, this is awesome poetry with many very origianl lines my favorite being:

I love how you incorporated the birth of the storm in terms of pregnancy. Neat allegoric write; and love the picture! WOW, awesome job!
