How does crawling to your car on a sheet of ice sound, my little chickadee? Yep... well, in truth, Nope! I didn't think I was up to that so I stayed in... didn't go to work yesterday. I decided I value my silly neck more than their stupid hourly wage. hehehe...

We are supposed to get snow here by mid week it was raining hard yesterday. We got over three inches. I am ready for some snow so my flowers will bloom next spring.

Nice Haiku, Karla. You're right, it is not that cold here, but the 40's after our usual Texas summers seem very cold. Try going back to Ohio sometime in winter, after allowing the Texas heat to thin your blood. I can attest to how brutal it is. When we were back home, 5 years ago in January, it was 78 degrees when we left here and 6 with snow falling in Ohio. It felt like 50 below!

Absolootely breathe-taking! I hate winter, but do love the beauty of it. Don't like 'ta be cold, though. It gets cold in Illinois--listen to Ed Kostro down below, as it gets a lot colder down below where he lives than where I live. The Great Lake effect.

Well, it sure as heck is that cold around here - about 20 Below with the Wind Chill, and I am surely anticipating the warmth of Spring right now.
