What does the 5-7-5 matter as you are the poet or "haikuist" and you may write it as you see fit and this one fits the ocean very nicely...well done, Mz Karla of the Special "K" twins...Peace Found, Ed & Rufuz

Blood-stirring and blood-cooling in equal, pulsating measure and rhythm, Karla. I see what Jerry means about what we take to be the 5-7-5 we normally associate with haiku - but I like the double-beat this starts and ends with - like the heart itself! Just don't ask me what it's called! The sea IS the earth's blood, isn't it?! Feeding, fuelling, cleansing, refreshing... beautiful metaphor. TY Kate xx
