We had thunder during the night last night, as Rufuz is afraid of it, I got a visit while I slept...LOL...it is an unusual occurance but one I look forward to as I have always been a lover of the unusual in the weather department...Ed

Here we get hail and lightning in the winter sometimes and there can be snow falling at the same time...as you say, it is a rare apperance though. Beautiful images in this fine poem, Karla.

Lightning in snow-filled skies is the gentle answer of the Goddess which turns away the wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Thunder Snow is a great example of how it effects people in the way we talk to them, which is my metaphor. Sometimes thunder is the greatest silencer in the world with a gentle answer. Very Cool write, Karla.

We have had that happen a couple of times this winter, now it is snow, snow, and more snow...like they say in Indiana if you don't like the weather, just wait 10 minutes and it will change! love your poem Karla, wonderful visuals...
