S t r e t c h i n g, y a w n i n g awake, the sun rose to the melodious tunes of birdsong; throwing back the covers of the night, it stepped out its bed in the east and into a brand new day.
And I watched its appearance; greeted the dawn with joy in my heart, glad to see my friend after the long darkness ... and joined the birds in welcoming the morning.
I LIKE THIS!! Great form which somehow reminds me greatly of those first few waking moments... kinda stuttery, as it were - goodly so!! :)) Certainly makes me feel like yawning, stretching... and walkin about bare-chested! :)) Gotta luv it. You do good when you experiment with form and voice, Karla. TY Kate xx
