We saw one on our trip this past weekend in Northern New Mexico. Trees are still green [for the most part]. I hope they change colors before just dropping all their leaves.
Winter is an old old man and he walks very slowly, while Autumn still have a few shots left of warmth to give.

Yes Karla the seasons are changing. We had winter a couple of weeks ago then a heat wave here now. There is a mosquito plague already. No butterflies. Karen is right it's crazy. Great animated monarch...

Not many Monarchs here like up in Savannah. We have the Swallow Tails and Painted Ladies more than any other butterfly. I am a friend to these winged creatures. They land on my arm and wrist most time and they stay as long as i let them. I wrote a poem about a Monarch Experience in Hilton Head. I may repost it. Love the fact you care so much for your environment. It concerns me too.
