they're weary of hiding, of

Houses and towns gone in a
madswirl of
Nature's fury; chasers try
to warn. We
under the sky look up and
pray it does
not lower in a scream of
wind. Day in,
the dread of more storms wears us
down; night out,
lost sleep. Let the pattern change.
What crazy weather we are having this year!! Wearing and Wearying, isn't it!! Here, in Montana, we have had rain every day for three weeks...Ten days it was just steady rain, and now it is just thunderstorms... I thought maybe I had somehow been transplanted in Seattle!

A pattern change would be nice,,, as here in MN,, many houses have been destroyed,, tossing a 4 year old to death,,, with a sister in critical condition,,,,so sad for this family that attend my church.
Yes, Mother Nature is surely mad at us lately. I am in Virginia, and we have had three storms in the evening hours that could light up NYC!!

Dear Karla, I truly understand your concern/fear. We've seen the devastation of storms on news channels so frequently one just never knows when they'll be next. All we can do is pray and be as prepared as we know how to be--non-perishable food, gas in the car, valuables ready for travel, etc. Prayers and blessings.
Wait until you see the long haire dude with the sign saying "THE END IS NITE" and after a sleepless night, comes morning and you are alive but tired like a donkey carrying stones uphill.
