those way down low hurricane blues ...

I've lived thru too many Hurricanes in LA and Mississippi, and even Alabama... lost my beautiful business in MS in 1984, and just saw too much pain over the years... know too many close to me who lost everything in Katrina too...still haven't recovered.. so... praying this ugly one out there just withers and dies before it does any damage... Just the storms yesterday and today here in AZ did alot of damage last nite... which was surprising...and we are waiting for more... saying it's a fall out from Gustav??? we lost power for awhile...too long...too hot... and trees snapped & more... Also ASU was closed today as were other schools...due to damage! guess everyone is getting some of this mess and it hasn't even landed yet... good hobby you have here missy... :-))) lindalaw

were so high we moved to the 2nd floor, and the only way to get around town was by rowboat. I think I was scared. Be careful...

Karla, I had no idea you suffered from the ravages of a hurricane. I can relate to some extent. I haven't had the extent of the damage you described, but I've been through quite a few hurricanes.
Concur with Ed below. Wherever one builds, they have to take into account that disaster, be it hurricane/tornado/flood/volcano, etc., could strike at any time, with very little advance warning. Excellent write of heartbreak of what those living along the Gulf Coast regions are singing. Very well done; brava!
