Can somebody explain a few snipers commanded by Executive Orders to kill a few individuals that were forbidden to be killed by Executive Orders?

"the double standard" begins with each excuse for making "thou shalt not kill" an expedient law to break, and that excuse is (almost) always made by a leader. I know many people who did volunteer to join the military, and they all had their reasons. But I do not know anyone who volunteered to go kill people. They went to Vietnam, went to Iraq, because they were ordered to go. They went, they fought, some died, all were afraid, and we owe them so much.
This is what many of us feel about how war has sent our young men and women into places to do inhumane things in the name of God and Country...and then be tried for crimes.... When the enemy uses their own...children, women, and others as weapons who go up in flames and destroy our precious troops.... This meant alot to me... and I can see from reading below that the poem evokes many different interpretations. Hugs and keep crankin these out... lindalaw

Although I still believe Vietnam war was a mistake or perhaps not engaged properly, I had nothing but utmost respect for the soldiers, sailors and airmen who followed orders blindly in the believe that they fought for their country.

Amen! It makes me sick to see how even good people with fine minds friends and family too, can be so wrong about how they condemn our country while giving the terrorists a pass. Have you seen the UTube soldier and what he had to say. go take a look,it's getting millions of hits. Well done Karla!
