Any picture I have of lightning just can't compare to the Superbolt of October 13, 2001. :/

God spoke: 'Let there be light[ning].' It
was as He commanded: a bolt to end
all bolts, one that fractured the entire
sky as the world flashbulbed white ---
and I, under, ducked, waiting for the
crush of thunder. Had to be a record,
and it was: it was seen from the DFW
Metroplex to Waco, a distance of 118
miles. Didn't have a camera then, but
my eyes were clicking away like mad,
storing images into my brain long
before I ever thought about going
digital. And when I want to be awed,
I pull them out, remembering the
time when nighttime turned into day.
That exact Day I really enjoyed a boat trip on my boat that I still have the picture of...glad the lightening was down your way and not where I was boating on the Delaware...e
