kitty doesn t like loud noises no not at all
wanna see kitty skitz hear kitty caterwaul
kitty hears sirens kitty will cower in fear
kitty remembers the big storm that hit that year

it was another hot and very humid day
the skies were cloudin over and becomin gray
it was too hot for doggie to torment the cat
kitty was certainly very grateful for that
doggie laid there with his tongue hangin out his mouth
kitty laughed dang yankee dog can t handle the south
kitty s mama owner pulled her clothes off the line
said looks like a storm s comin a big un this time
c mon kitty c mon doggie let s get inside
unless y all want the wind ta take y all fer a ride
kitty didn t like the jagged look to the clouds
suddenly lightning flashed the thunder very loud
doggie was runnin around stupid dog was scared
storms don t bother kitty cause kitty doesn t care
all got in mama kitty chicken hearted pup
kitty laid down for a snooze mama got her cup
the rain began falling beatin against the walls
didn t bother kitty who was layin there sprawled
another roll of thunder shuddered overhead
a high pitched wailing began filled mama with dread
oh dang she said there s a tornado on its way
must get to the cellar kitty doggie don t stay
c mon now what s eatin y all it ll be all right
dang look at the sky dang it s blacker than the night
c mon y all follow me will y all get over here
dangit dog bout gettin tired of y all ya hear
stop runnin around idjit g i t o v e r h e r e n o w
less y all wanna take a ride and meet dorthy s cow
suddenly there was the sound of something rippin
high into the air the trailer home went skippin
oh dang oh dang then mama started off in prayer
kitty doggie mama all three were downright scared
it seemed like hours they were swirlin in the sky
there were several times they thought they were gonna die
kitty nearly went out the window once or twice
k i t t y get back in here y all know that ain t too nice
doggie growled at kitty kitty hissed at the dog
y all quit fightin or i ll whack y all both with a log
suddenly the trailer was set down with a bump
in a strange land mama kitty doggie were dumped
