kitty s in a bit of a foul mood today
it might be best you stay out of kitty s way
kitty did not sleep that well last night o no
tossin and turnin beatin up the pillow
dang stupid pillow was as hard as a rock
didn t get no softer the more kitty socked
the a c went on the blink kitty got warm
it hasn t worked right since that last thunderstorm
kitty sat by the window to get some air
almost got to sleep but then had a nightmare
doggie always doggie invades kitty s dreams
woke mama up with a strangled kitty scream
hush kitty hush what are y all cryin out for
lookit the time geez it is three forty four
git on up here mama said you silly cat
what do y all mean carryin on like that
mama scratched kitty s ears kitty began to purr
kitty liked to have mama scratch kitty s fur
kitty went to sleep dang it didn t last long
four kittys outside raised their voices in song
mama rolled over slapped kitty out of bed
poor kitty landed right on poor kitty s head
that s it kitty went to the kitchen to eat
something or someone had been in kitty s treats
not a bite left in kitty s bowl what to do
there s some leftover turkey kitty can chew
yummy kitty ate til poor kitty was stuffed
playtime kitty pounced on mousie kinda rough
oops poor mousie is dead put mousie in trash
kitty didn t mean to make mousie all smashed
kitty lay down but couldn not get to sleep
would it help kitty if kitty counted sheep
one two three four five six seven eight nine ten
crud kitty s still awake kitty tries again
onetwothreefourfivesix this ain t gonna work
this no gettin sleep s drivin kitty berserk
kitty hisses when mama s alarm clock rings
kitty didn t wanna hear that blank blank thing
What a cute write, Karla. In my family, I am affectionately called "El Gato" for my cat-like behaviour. Sometimes as gentle and innocent as a kitten and sometimes for being as stealthy and strong as a Panther. But always curious about life's greatest surprises.

Benjie says that is one mighty fine putty kat, Tell her to make sure she sleeps with one eye open when he is around,and tell her, he catch's rat's not them pesky meesis.
