I must admit my favorite season TRULLY is winter...everything with such a diamond like sparkling blanket of cold pristine bright white...and then weeeeeeeeeeeee I get to muffle it all up and have some dashing fun!!!! :O)
Thanks for helping me to keep cool here in the northeast Karla and anytime you want to come to snowy mountain country you are more than welcome!!!!

oh yes..I needed this write too... would do anything to go roll in the snow right now....well perhaps not anything.We are having a heatwave too and it takes all my strength to get up in the morning.
A lovely poem Karla, think I will go sit in the fridge now.

North winds travel south, biting all it their way,
Making them wish they had gone on that hot day
To bath on the sandy beaches, and have fun at play
But now it is too late, the frost has come to stay.

Have a ice-cube fight with that twin of yours....a few ice cubes down the seat of your pants will cool ya' all down. Great write. ~Trish~

Never having experienced snow, I won't say I like or don't like it... what I will say is that I would love to feel all those emotions you have described in this poem.. Loved this, Karla..

Thanx I needed that! Is very hot & humid here and I am longing for, well, mid to late October at least! Can hardly bear to be outside at all. Being from New Orleans, I never saw snow in person until I was 27 years old and visiting Kansas City, MO! And the first thing I did was lay down and make a snow angel! LOL! Great images! Stay Cool!

*yeah, RIGHT, karla* LOL "i'll never complain about the heat again.." i have heard that one before! LOL i love this poem; it helped me cool off, albeit temporarily! still, it's better than NOTHING! can't wait 'til fall or winter; BRING ON THE SNOW!! :) terrific write about an event that doesn't happen often enough in my book here in texas; sure do miss the snow like they had in ohio! (((HUGS))) and love, your snow-lovin' twin, karen lynn. :) remember the time we were coming to the library on that day, and i fell? EMBARRASSING!! LOL

Okay now the heat is gone and I am chilled I sneezed while reading this one dont know if it was sinking in water of titantic or your snowfall... hahsahhahaa
