I'm glad you got that beauty! I remember you asking for some.

Yes...when it comes down white and lovely, and disappears in
a few hours...then I would welcome it as you have.
Shoveling out a foot of it a day, for nearly all of a week,
then it is a different story...
Those scenes are always so serene and beautiful. I love them.

Nothing like the kiss of a snowflake. Wonderful sharing and so pleased to hear you have had the joy of snow. ......Wouldn't mind if you take more from the north.....not at all.....we don't mind sharing :-) Beautiful Haikus!
Karla I'm so happy you got the snow, I know you were looking forward to it, but also it enabled you to write these utterly exquisite Haiku! They are really superb!

Ah yes, the beauty of the newly fallen snow! Loved it! Take care and enjoy - I don't think Texas gets much snow!!!
What a lovely present from Mother Nature! I enjoyed the snow, and I enjoyed this beautiful poem! Thanks for sharing a wonderful memory that will live on in the mind of many Texas folk who were lucky enough to experience something that doesn't occur often, quite unlike our home back in Ohio! Ah, what memories! I really had fun yesterday, and it was made better sharing the snowfall (and the snowballs) with you!

Beautiful Karla...and when it snowed, I went outside and made my first snowman. I couldn't believe how beautiful and soft the snow was. By noon my snowman was a puddle of water. But I'll be waiting for the next bit of snow....even if it takes another 16 years. LOL
