A Sunny day, in October a car alarm is sounding all, the surrounding trees shudder Blue heron takes off flying warm breeze, blowing pleases All life has a bounce today unseen, children�s voices echo just another sunny day in October Snassano10-15-07

Great poem Stan-you have described a typical day in October in a very beautiful,creative way.
I especially like these lines: A car alarm is sounding
all, the trees shudder

i love the simplistic languidness of this; the observational of the reality with the surreality. .. . the machine with the world contrast. .. i jsut cant tell if all the world is recoiling from that alarm or in synch?

Here in Brandon the same scenario takes place. When I come home I can hear the children heading for a late afternoon swim. Don't ya just love it!!!

I just returned from five sunny October days in West Virginia and it was very sunny...90 to 95 degrees, four of the five days...but it was nice...Good work on the write.
