Camp  Creek

Smokey breath, eyes
 opening
soul awakening
Body, slightly shivering
Gurgling gulping, water rushing
fast
looking up from under a heavy stick filled
tangle of grey branches
skyward
blue  …….radiating
sun busting loose
 through this mountain
pass, between  these steep vertical
mountain walls
shiny spring water, tumbling
to the valley floor
splotches of green pine
adding color to the  and brown
spring waiting for its release
and all  these rocks ,and mud and fallen leaves
among the pools of still water
are calling calling me, no not just calling
pulling tugging ……………..driving me
to enter
to awaken in Camp Creek West Virgina

your own self reflects in this scenery; did you know that?
i like the contrast of water [still and deep vs swift and rushing].....just like some souls i know. ..[always moving but so deeply stilling]. ..
makes me want to stretch my bones against a weary world. ..
morning.moon.bathe :}
[and actually 'bathe'; all that cold wake you up water]
glorious and calm~
