I’ve said it before
Again, I’ve heard it said, this time
as in the words of a new friend, Chip
“it just grabs a hold of ya and you can’t
let go………….you can’t let go……
“Been here 8 years now”

These places
places of the wild, untamed
pure, clean  unbroken
place that
leave you
breathless
wringing out old tears
filling our soul
replenishing  the spirit

so much so
you  never want to
leave
yes, Chip, I know
I know what you mean
I guess,  I got to go
maybe,
 tomorrow

My husband grew up there...maybe you passed his old home...
He always told me Montana was home and better than my Idaho. I still don't know that THAT'S true, but it certainly has become home...

some places, and some people too, speak to us like dreams and visions. .. . .. we can barely believe we are in their presence, and that they speak to us at all is a miracle.
do you know anyone like that?
i do.
and always the mountains.

Sounds great to me, Stan. Why wait until tomorrow?
If they had an ocean I might join you. Yep. -gene.

Such places are constantly in my dreams.
I have enjoyed the short and powerful description.
