suffer the breeze... she comes so softly and gentle whispering of summer days an electric flash and rumble the storm clouds roll in her whispers turn to tears torrents of rain
suffer the breeze... the gullies fill with water the puddles are full of grief she howls blowing the storm away a flash across the sky a silence then thunder booms
suffer the breeze... she sees the sun rays break unto her puddles of tears she looks into the reflection her sorrow has no reprieve she comes softly and gentle whispering raindrops silent secrets of the storm
Dale,
what a pleasure it still is to read your incredible work.
I shall call you , as other here at AD , OFTEN call other authors

This is a deeply meaningful poem Dale!It is beautifully written and brings out the need to "go with the flow"...to know that we can overcome, if we learn to "suffer the breeze" however it may come.
Very fine lines on the grace that may be gleaned from the pain in our lives when we are willing to SUFFER THE BREEZE. The words flow through one's heart and mind in whispers of subtle inspiration.
Explore the mystery of how nature makes unexpected gifts of creative wonders to an unsuspecting caregiver one late night and early morning in southeastern Georgia, USA.

Beautiful poem, I agree with the board...the soft imagery you have used compliments the "she" aspects very well!

Enjoyed the mixing of soft and hard images here, it captures the changeability of nature.
