Wonders of Winter the cold gray morning a misty dampness ice hangs from tree tops too cold to snow the sun frozen sky the warmth lies covered below in a cloudy breath exhaled in icicles the shadows shiver in formless shaking creating a crisp clear day shinning in silver hues the wonders of winter Copyright © D.E. Sometimes I long to see it, other times I think, I'd probably want to go back to Florida the next day! :)
I must admit, days like your poem expresses, puts the wonder back into the Winter Season...
