Should I Die?

should I die?
it's 11 a.m.
and already
I've made friends
with this
vodka
just like
daddy
just like
daddy, baby
one, two,
four
should I live?
there's a gun
right here
beside this
gahblessed laptop
with the afternoon
sun
shining
....shining
on the barrell
in a streak of light
whose cheer
mocks me
fucking kicks
me
should I die?
oh I think so
yes
lick my lips
in utter
desire
of the sleek
curve
of that handle
oh god
yes
I should.

Looks like we share the same dad and the same lust for life. *ahem*

On a serious note, you've got all the time in the world to be dead and not long to live, so stick around. Not for that reason but because if ya do it I'll call ya back on a Ouija board and ask you a bunch of dumb questions about the universe like, What color socks does God wear? or something. Yeah so better to stick around...for now.

The answer is no, not physically or spiritually. You will always live my dear, body or not, you chose where to send yourself, so stick around for a while, it is a short spell in the long run anyway!

Much love,

Caryn

Yes, we all think this at some time in our life, it is so real, so doable at the time - good thing time does what it is best at - and passes by........ love your work, Carol x

Bam! Impact and eloquence.
But I will join the chorus is saying, you would be missed, mourned and lamented!
(I, for one, would enter an ageless funk over the loss of so pure a talent and lovely of a woman)

April, I don't know what to say, I have been there, can't say I won't go back, but I'm still here ~ glad you are too.

You are a tempest, April (one that many would watch from a safer vantage). Your anger is palpable and rages throughout your writing. It is wild and vivid and strong. It drives you (and your readers) to the breaking point.

Love and peace to you always,
**Mari**

Well, April, I certainly wouldn't want you to die. I hope it is just a poem that you play on the words. I know teenage years could be crappy sometimes, but hey, we've all been there, it's no big deal......

and tomorrow, the sun will shine upon you again. Smile!

A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
