I wanted to share this older poem written in January of 2006. I am feeling the power of the Earth's Energy very intensely these days!
"The Power of the Earth's Energy!"

We walk in silence,
we walk in unison,
we talk with whispers,
we talk with love.
When we walk in silence;
we begin to hear those beats
the beats of the earth's energy,
that came before us.
When we walk in unison,
we strive for equality
that equality that unites us
like that energy that came before us.
When we talk with whispers,
we hear all that we need to hear
from the earth and its creatures,
to feel the energy that came before us.
When we talk with love,
we are one with that energy
that came before us.
Life is about the energy of our earth,
it is constant and steady
we need only to listen, feel and learn,
in order to begin to be one with that energy.
Author's Notes: I live my life with the knowledge of such energies. It is very fastenating to realize that you are one with the energy of this earth, just open your mind and soul to it and it shall be yours.

Very nicely done Amber, this speaks from your soul and gives us all a chance to look into our ownn relationnship with mother earth and the universe around us.
The Great Spirit intentions was that there were a synergy between Mother Earth and man, but the late, as every son demonstrate, go their own ways in detriment of his life giving power.
I have always loved this photo of Mother Slumbering in her bed of grass! Your poem is so beautiful too of powerful truths!
if we do listen we will hear symphonies of beauty! Innate wisdoms will open through receiving the energy of our surroundings. Just like we can feel another person who does not speak a word to us-a child, friend, lover, or stranger..these are receiving informational energies with purpose which are always being channeled outward by everyone...feeling them is priceless....

The Earth is one power with all its energies. I am happy that you brought up the subject which many do not know about its existence. Amber, there are other energies which reach us from the center of the Universe, the love is one of them. Great Poem, Brava. Emile
I sadly feel Mother's Energy waning these days, especially when I wander about and every year now see less and less of her vital insects and creatures like bees, butterflies, frogs, and bats.
I truly hope that we can all re-connect, and re-vitalize Her, before it's too late.
