Who the heck does she think she is,
Why does she have to act so mean?
The lady needs to act like one,
This young lady's name is Irene.

She's not even American,
Born in a place far, far away;
Made the trip here illegally,
Set to arrive on Saturday.

They're calling her a great monster,
Why can't she just stay far away?
Go do her thing far out to sea,
For all on the East Coast I pray.

Lord, please protect everyone,
All those that lie within her path;
Don't let any harm befall them,
Keep them free from her ugly wrath.

For now we watch the news closely,
To see the path that she might take;
Prepare for the worst, pray for the best,
