Lovely thoughts and images, Larry. Coincidentally, several years ago when I was in universtity, I wrote a poem entitled, "Disappearance."

I saw a white bird
Flying slowly through the snow

Solitary
In the grey sky

Alone
In so much movement

It lost itself
In the snowflakes
It became one of them
And disappeared
Into the nothingness
Of too much similarity
