The innocent die in streets paved by the folly of their elders,
while others cry and shake their fists at the world.
No accountability is necessary when deception
tells them, theirs is the opinion of god.
Words of peace drip from their mouths
like saliva from a ravenous dog
but they cannot digest the reality
that death is brought on by their own doctrines of hate.
How sad it is, that reaping and sowing
requires so much from the innocent.
The only peace they seek, demands the death of their enemy.
There is no place for co-existence.
They declare war, then hide behind the holy ground
of the unholy who have gone before.
They speak of god, but the god they serve requires
that they view all others as less than human.
Death will find them, for theirs is the way of war.

Lori, you are capturing my heart at a rapid pace, I love your writes! My wife and daughter said, "oh no, Dad has found another on who agrees with him" Soon, very soon, we will out number them.
They speak of peace with the forked tongue of evil. They lure in the unsuspecting with their greased smiles and slithering backbones. They are a trap of hate and disgust.
I'm tired of our men and women in uniform dying and so many wanting to put the blame on others besides the ones that are actually responsible for why we are there to start with. Terrorists. That's the real culprit..nobody else.
