My attempt at humor. Maybe I should stick to serious. Thank you, my sweet friend Chad, for giving me the inspiration to branch out into different avenues. Hope someone gets a smile out of this one. :)

Wake up every mornin' Can't get outta bed Guess I should be thankful I didn't wake up dead Joints hurt when I move Guess I'm gettin old Can be one hundred degrees And I'm still cold I stumble outta bed to the coffee pot Spill a little on my hand Dang! Thats hot! Where is my teeth Can't find my clothes Where my cup of coffee went No body knows Can't find my cigarettes Need to go pee Lifes hard on and old man Like me Chase the dog threw the house He's chewin on my shoe Where the other one is I don't have a clue Trip over a chair and Fall to the floor Hit my head on that damn old door One blue sock on and One sock red Maybe I'll just go Back to bed! � Linda Hill 2003

This is a fantastic write Linda! You have not lost your touch to make me laugh. unfortunately though with this poem you are describing me to a tee! You have either been talking to the other half or you just remember the way I have been on the mornings when we catch eachother online and talk...Love the poem and love you too my dear friend.

love this, linda! you did great with this! HA HA!! can relate to that person's joints aching; arthritis has set up residence in my body, and i would LOVE to evict him; but so far, no luck! oh, well! :) love, your (achy) friend in texas, karen lynn.
