A satirical look at credit card companies....especially during the festive season....personally I don't max mine out at Christmastime, but I'm sure lots of people do.....then it takes years to pay it back....and the credit card companies are filled with glee! giggle

There’s a Santa on every corner And a Grinch on every street! A tired look, but nary a smile On every face you meet! Tis the time of year to be jolly, The season of joy and cheer! But everyone’s getting more upset As Christmas draws ever near! Your shopping lists for Christmas gifts, Far outweigh the pocketbook! Plastic cards with strings attached Getting everyone on the hook! All too quickly Christmas is gone And these seasonal feelings will fade, Then we’ll send your credit card bill And you’ll see what a mess you’ve made! Merry Christmas from your credit card company Where we’re always full of good cheer! We own your paycheck forever now, Wish it were Christmas all year! © Annabel Sheila

EXCELLENT!...I personally do not have a credit card, but I have in the past and have run them over their limit...glad I don't have them anymore...I really enjoyed this one, its a keeper...ed

Although I smiled when reading this for you have such a lovely sense of humor, it is also so very true. I see it each day as people rush about the mall where I am Santa and the plastic barely goes back into the wallet or purse before it is whipped out again.
