Anna, very insightful, though not a pretty sight. I completely agree with Felix. It's the law of nature, THE STRONG SURVIVE. That's the way it has always been. Until we figure out how to defeat strength with brains, that’s the way it will always be. Well written piece.

A just write indeed Anna but in this world the truth is that there are both good and evil forces. I hate to be the one to play devil's advocate but sometimes war is the only solution to evil. e all know what happened for example when countries tried to reason and negotiate with Hitler, Stalin, Mussoolini, the Shah just to name a few. People were not only killed but in most cases tortured. I wish there were a simple answer for yes I truly believe some wars are unjustified but can we ever stop war or warfare completly...I truly doubt it. The only thing a bully understands is when someone stands up to them.

Yes, Anna, what has changed in a thousand years. What is won by blood, tears and fortune today is lost tomorrow. People starve in North Korea and Iraq as their corrupt, dictatorial governments squander what would feed their people on armament that even they dare not use. Senseless, absolutely senseless.
