Out of the lake you arose one day
Born of the earth – soft gray clay!
Your lust for the touch of a woman’s hand
Sated there upon the sand!
In her hands you slowly grew
Sleek and firm she sculpted you.
Moulded into her heart’s desire
Your manly form soon transpired!
Phallic symbol, a dream at best!
Laid across a mermaid’s chest.
You rested there for quite a while
And neath you how the mermaid smiled!
But heated by the warmth of the sun
Your time with her was nearly done.
The mermaid shrivelled beneath your weight
And by then it was far too late!
Back into the lake you went,
Soft gray clay…passion spent!
