Sounds of summer still around,
Birds singing in the trees,
But there’s a hint of seasonal change
In the slightly chilly breeze!
Autumn’s waiting in the wings
For summer’s last hooray,
When fiery shades of orange and red
Will come, but not to stay!
For there in autumn’s shadow
An old man bides his time
His blustery breath and frigid touch
Dreary and yet sublime!
And then a fresh beginning…
When spring bids winter adieu!
Trees and flowers will bloom once more
And the Earth will be renewed!

Nicely packaged Anna, thanks Dick.
Your friend; Mark
As he always does, and far too soon, he'll be creeping around my place, too. When that day comes, I always feel a little blue.
