Ah!...the fresh breeze caresses my skin and the scent of fall is invigorating!
Wind whipped trees yielding
To energetic zephyrs
In autumn’s advance!
Summer has vanished
And daylight hours dwindle
Into long cool nights!
The crops have matured
Succulent fare awaiting
A full harvest moon!
Hummingbirds refill
Their crucial fuel reserves
For the long trip south!
Clusters of purple
Tucked into a sea of green…
The vineyard beckons!
