Oh how I love Autumn Annabel! Your beautiful poem was a precise description of one of my favorite seasons of the year. I agree, the fall foliage is the true essence of Autumn and thanks so much for sharing it! :)

Living in Southern California, Autumn is about the only thing I miss from the years of living in the Chicago area. However, once the pretty leaves are lying piled in our yards or gutters, then comes the winds of winter. Though your wonderful poem will remain within our AD pages, too bad Autumn is so short lived

Autumn. Her beauty serves to disguise her message,,, the beginning of the end,,,, the end of summer, of picnics in the park, strolling on the beach, skinny dipping and all that goes with nice warm evenings, etc.
