Warm sunshine beaming in through the windows...sparkling on the disappearing snow...daydreaming of warmer days ahead...my senses are coming alive after a long winter's sleep...giggle...

I hear… Willows whispering on a summer breeze, Ripples tickling the shore by the lake! I see… Fragrant meadows in vibrant hues Butterflies, tranquillity in their wake! I feel… The warmth of the sun neath a canopy of blue White clouds like dreams drifting by! I touch… The breeze making wildflowers dance As it’s tossed to the earth from the sky! I smell… Sun warmed earth, neath a solid old oak Where life makes sense to me! I taste The sweet bouquet of a warm spring day And to think …all of this for free! © Annabel Sheila
