If you listen to nature, there is music all around you.

Nature Creates a Symphony By Kathy Lynn Rustlings in the wind Clashes of tambourines Echoing their melodies Skipping across the clouds Leaves touch and sway Dancing gracefully Fluttering softly as they Move seductively to the ground Rain pitter, patters On their upturned faces Making a tapping sound Rhythm for my symphony Playing in the background Lightening streaks across the sky Clashing cymbals light up the night Thunder’s sonic booms enthrall Sending chills upon your spine Tree limbs conduct as the Wind howls into the night Contralto voices soothe Blue jays in their flight Beyond the stars in the sky Reaching out to the heavens Symphonic music crescendos Streaking through the night Select melodies played throughout the night as dusk turns to dawn Nature’s fury is lost in the mornings brilliant sunlight

I love your understanding of nature and how it indeed does play wonderful music if we but take the time to listen and understand it. I have written poems on this same subject. Love your poetry.

Your kinship with nature is most evident in these verses, Kathleen. I can completely relate and I agree with you. Today here, it is the song of the wind and the rain and the falling leaves with the occasional twitter of a small bird that dominate the stage of nature's symphony. Thank you for sharing this gift.
