Yes Reg sometimes we do get gifts unexpectedly. Like loving and caring friends, even from afar that give advice and wish us well. But when we can get a love from afar, and meet that person face to face, and let the love grow, then we know that God was watching us both at the same time. This is a wonderfully happy poem about love, and the many splendored things it brings. Thank you for sharing.

I think this poem needs to be broken up into stanzas. I'd probably have a line break after the line 'your face glowed'. This would create a 2 stanza poem.

The poem flows well and it is filled with sweetness. Even though I don't see a lot of imagery in this poem I can still picture what you write about in the poem.

I really liked this poem and I think that people will be able to connect with it and it will make them smile.

I think unrhymed poetry is your best style. You excel at it better than when your poetry rhymes. That is not to say your rhymed poems are bad; they are not. But your unrhymed poetry is better.
