Kai Tracid - Liquid skies

Drifting under a hot sun, the tepid pool
Reflects liquid skies and filters
Teal green colors into shimmers
Of life. I’m cooling off and relaxing;
Immersed in books on philosophy
And ancient Egyptian spirituality.
The cats play their usual lizard games
And as always the dog keeps a watchful eye
On the action. Soothing electronic music
Pipes through the pleasant southern air,
Which is occasionally interrupted
By a comical husband who fills my belly
With laughs; the bliss of my Saturday afternoon.
