Because He Lives
Though times and skies stream, gray,
hope fills me everyday
because He lives.
A living sacrifice ...
Christ died for our sins, vice,
yet, Jesus lives!
Aspire to paradise:
heed God's Word, Christ's advice ...
because He lives.
Christ has nothing to prove--
by His grace we live, move
for Jesus lives!
There's no satisfaction
unless faith takes action.
You know He lives!
Feeling love, ecstasy--
created then set free--
for Jesus gives.
He lives internally,
offers infinity ...
because He lives!
Yes, Jesus lives--
death cheated, He arose
eternally.
Let Him in, light each day,
to guide us all the way ...
because He lives!
