A woman who ignores fashion for comfort.

Sweat Pants

The fashion police
are taking me in
for the vile sin
of wearing sweat pants.

My cellulite straps--
quite unattractive--
keep my blue veins active.
Skin tight pants bulge … much.

Imitation stuff
won’t pass for leather--
e’en with a feather--
in purses or shoes.

Give me red sweat pants,
a purple checked blouse,
if I stay in my house.
What does it matter?

The fashion police
don't spook me ... too thin.
I’ll give them a spin
… put them in sweat pants.

Oh, see how they run!

They're great for sweating… Otherwise just to cover up nameless sins and keep them warm.
