~ Beyond the Wooden Gate ~
(part 5)
She floated into stardust, when a wall opened up, quietly.
There was the spinning vortex, patiently waiting for me.
Without hesitation I jumped right in, returning to the plateau.
Just like he said, the old man was there, waiting for me to show.
"Have a nice trip, young lady?" he asked while taking my hand,
Leading me towards the pink bubble, my magical ride down to land.
"Come back again", he called to me, adrift in a star studded night.
Slowly floating through the cosmos, in awe of my celestial flight.
Tiny wisps of angels essence, circling round and round my sphere,
Escorting my return to home… my earthly atmosphere.
Slowly the earth came back into view, tiny and spinning around,
An incredible sight, a sky black as night, a tranquil absence of sound.
Loving it all as my pink bubble falls, oh so gently, taking me home,
An adventure I never imagined… when I entered the forest alone.
The large wooden gate stood soundly in wait, it’s massive boulders
retreat,
I stepped over the magical threshold... onto the busy city street…
