Better to listen than to ignore...

Poem Artwork

 Mother Ocean is talking today,

She speaks in her own special way,

Crashing onto the beaches, eroding the sand,

Telling humanity she is tired of anything that is manned.

The trees are speaking as well today, much the same as the ocean,

But the high winds guide the trees in their speech,

The storm blowing through has Nature speaking to all of us people,

They are teaching us what we should have learned through life,

I just hope Mom Nature doesn’t destroy my beach.

Man’s power is quivering from Natures wrath,

All forms of electricity are flickering in its path,

But the humans still claim their right to the earth,

Much to Mother Nature’s constant dearth.

It seems Earthians will never learn. Compassion is the key. Humans (humane) where are they. I like to think of myself as human or perhaps as an alien. Thank you for sharing, Ed. Love and peace,

Regis. ☮🍁

That hurricane eye must have passed right over your house. The way it was moving, it was not lingered long. But enough time for you to write this poem of your experience.

Mother nature is always talking to us, but so many humans don't listen to her words of beauty and wisdom, or her words of warning, and that's sad and will more than likely spell doom for those of us who do listen.

She speaks louder when she wants and we only claim to have what we want.

Hurricanes have a way of doing that. Nature speaks loud and clear in a hurricane.
