Fallen Ed

Ed’s a friendly feller until he stepped in what?
He just couldn’t wing it and landed on his butt,

Cursing words were wasted and the hurt just wouldn’t quit,
Even, Naval terminology didn’t seem to help a bit,

An old man’s cane or crutches are surely not his style,
But Back in the saddle won’t be for awhile,

This man up thing now, he don’t need to hear,
He needs a little bracer, something stronger than a beer,

Is there advice , we can generate for Ed,
Here’s what a doctoring friend of mine said,

I don’t have a good answer and I want to be fair,
But a man need a little padding on the ol'derriere ,

Accidents will happen , but I have resolved,
One must be thankful when that’s all that’s involved,

A fall can cause blinding pain everywhere,
When it involves damage to certain software!
