Hound Dog

Little hound dog Zippa , I love you to death,
But, Do you have to keep barking with every breath,

Yeah I know you chased that squirrel up our big tree,
But you go try to climb it, you’re younger than me,

Don’t bark at me asking to come give you a hand,
I’m perfectly happy, when I don’t have to stand,

You’ll notice I’m seated, life couldn’t be finer
It would be better with an electric recliner.

If the wind ain’t blowin and it ain’t too hot,
I’m somewhat happy with what I’ve got,

Hound dog take a nap, sleeps good for you,
And give me a brake I’ll take a nap too ,

Ahh! peace and quiet from a man’s best friend,
But damnit here comes that Old squirrel again!
