Somewhat embarrassing for a young feller that wants to parade his dancing for the girls.

Dancing at the Blackboard Part 2

Another evening at the Blackboard with slim pickins for the night,
My buddy Nick was drinking and gittin a little tight,

He was trying to make amends, for the night he split the scene,
He was out there hoofin it with that lady Flapper Queen,

Ol’Nick had cut me out, a very grateful, one and done,
Sometimes a guy gets lucky, in a lot more ways than one,

Six tall good lookin girls came in, some of the sporting kind,
Hey now ! this is better, they got dancing on their mind,

Beauties , everyone of them, a stunning sight to see,
But all were up in thin air a good foot over me,

The girls came to my table, surprising don’t you know,
I was kinda shook and rattled, hoped it didn’t show,

But, I was kinda flattered that they chose my place to sit,
Maybe all the empty chairs had something to do with it,

Basketball was their thing, a ladies champion team,
But they came in for dancing, not for pick ups it would seem,

I had to do the honors, they all wanted a few whirls,
But dancing was kinda risky with such tall and wholesome girls,

An eagerness to please sometimes won’t make your day,
There were some bigger issues that sorta got in the way,

I try to put it nicely, but I think you’ll understand,
There’s times when circumstances were never in your plan,

I could really do the foot work , but five foot four is all I stood,
Them girls were leaning over me, I did the best I could,

But I couldn’t lead the dances or move with great precision,
I couldn’t see a thing I had no peripheral vision,

Yes Sir , I love dancing but that two step name is false,
With basket ball playing ladies, it’s called the nuzzle waltz,

I was really getting worried, some pleasures get you more,
But I didn’t want one of them ladies dribbling me across the floor,

Talk about high end ladies, Friend , you cain’t know it till they’re gone,
These gals gave me a bad time, but Bring it on , Oh bring it on!

The Captain was the tallest and worried me the most,
I needed elevated shoe, a waltz and I was toast,

I have done a lotta dancing, but never the ballet,
But to everybody staring, I guess it looked that way,

You’ll notice in my picture, my nose is prominent,
I was waltzing on my tippy toes to avoid an incident,

The Captain started laughing, kept kidding me along,
I couldn’t hold my own, it was a train wreck going on,

If that dance were on a camera, it would be a wrap,
We both went down in staggers. I wound up in her lap,

I guess my grip ain’t what it was or maybe it was too good ,
What I grabbed coulda got me stabbed , but that Captain understood,

With thank you’s all around and that double something I was needing,
I was really kinda happy that they didn’t leave me bleeding,

Later I was thinking , I was the evening clown,
Maybe she enjoyed it, she could have slapped me down,

As tough as that tall lady was , a little anger and I was sunk ,
I was happy to escape and not become a slamming dunk!

Hang on Part 3 finis

And to think that for all these years I always
thought that dancing was the prelude to romancing.
But I guess at five feet four you can make of it
anything you want. Toes to toes and your nose is
in it. Not a bad predicament for a rhyming two-stepper.

I can see you have a nose for the tall chicks. Careful where you snuggled it during those waltzes a bit. If I was that short, and she was that tall, I would've just buried my nose into it and let her enjoy it all.

Like the guy who pretended to be gay to spend time with top models, some of whom, liked to play. Ending up in bed with one until the coming day.

Alright, Tom, we'll all forgive you for shooting your mouth out on this sequence, so long as the third part doesn't dribble down to your shoving the ball down the Captain's gullet. Five-foot four and the grip you got on her...errrr...what? Butt!!! You had better come on with some smooching in the next or we'd all turn our screens off.
Whatever happened to the Dancing Queen??? It all sounds like the guy who made it with the ABBA Queen and bragged about it on the Net.
