I had to chuckle at that last line. So that's where you've been, off on vacation to Hawaii. We go bananas right here in Texas, Houston, don't you know? They don't get over about 12 feet and a stepladder will get you a bunch off of them if they get through the winter without a freeze. Requiring about 13 months to ripen.

Hey, Tom, that's new, they must grow them tall as the Eiffel Tower in the Pacific (State Side). Where I come from - in the East Indies - bananas hang down one's throat: even children can pick them without shaking a leg. Besides, banana leaves don't stink. Indians use them as plates after subjecting them to "sprinklings" of plain/rain water.
