A feller maybe, should take his own advice, you reckon?

I always try to be helpful, even when I ain’t,
With Words of encouragement , but this time I cain’t,

This “Lady” complained loudly, of no show ups for her birthday,
She insisted that she had many places they could stay,

I said maybe you ain’t looked lately but this time you might,
Because lady at your age, you dig up to invite,

Friends will say good bye they really hate to go,
Maybe they’ll be coming back, but then, maybe No,

Words are mighty powerful, I know that you have seen it,
That Ol’grim Reaper is sharpening up his scythe, just in case they mean it,

I’ve got lots of friends that passed with heaven as their goal,
But some ,I have to fear, are probably busy shoveling coal,

I don’t mean to bust a bubble, or dampen your desire,
But a little plain old speaking, might be what you require,

So I wish you happy birthday , but there’s something you should know,
Though having been an airline stewardess– up, you may not go,

Maybe sitting on a cloud you envision as a grand Ma,
More likely it’s a rest home with a heated spa ,

But I suggest a little furnace work with winter coming near,
You might need a little job training for a new career,

I wasn’t pleased with her last comment, I don’t think that it was fair,
She said, good to know I won’t be lonesome , I hope to see you there!
