We certainly like to see all the suffering that comes with the latest "breaking news." The problem begins when we begin to think that what is happening is happening to us rather than being some small fluke in the statistical pool of humankind. And yes, there is a battle between good and bad within us. But that should not become boring in the case of the fate of the world. Waging war because we are bored would not be a good thing.
