Winter comes with an ashen hue, when ice replaces the morning dew.
When temperatures drop, and the sun's shine is veiled, and dim,
the landscape, withered, and bare, when bird's songs
are few.
Then snow flakes fall, and all is hushed, as what was,
disappears.
It covers all, shapes anew, and sparkles in the sun,
a glistening blanket of pure white, and silence fills,
one's ears.
With barren boughs, the trees seem dead, but, for,
the evergreens
nothing is as summer was, it's like a different place
but death is an illusion, for, their's life
we cannot see.
A dormant time in nature, to refresh and grow,
new roots
when water takes the nutrients down, like, no other season can
the leaves of fall decompose, and in the spring will, feed the, newborn, shoots
With all of nature, God has a plan, the seasons,
come and go,
In, spring, and summer, nature's at it's prime
in autumn, leaves must fall
Winter is a time to rest for some, for others a time to die
so seeds, shrubs, trees and, all, can, be reborn, and once again,
His Majesty, show.
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event, under heaven. Eccl 3:1

I wish we could bring Victor to the States...but imagine, being in Malta where Apostle Paul was!
I could smell the cold fresh air in this one...and see the evergreens' boughs heavy with snow......I love the purity of winter.
And I thank you for this beauty of a write, Brother!
Love&Hugs, Rho/Sis
Happy Thanksgiving!!
