My Spoon

I am hungry, getting thinner.
Wish I could eat my dinner.
But, my spoon is in the way.
It has been there all day.

Another thing that I miss,
Giving my girlfriend a kiss.
But my spoon is in the way.
It has been there all day.

I'd go for a walk,
But I can't talk
To anyone I meet,
Out on the street,
Because my spoon is in the way.
It has been there all day.

I am all alone.
Can't use the telephone,
Because my spoon is in the way.
It has been there all day.

I hate my spoon being in the way,
All Day.

I'll tell you this, without a doubt.
As soon as I get this spoon out.
I'll eat peanut butter off my thumb,
And then I won't look so dumb,
If I have to walk around all day,
With my thumb in the way.

Keep the spoon! If it inspires poems like this...
why ruin a good thing?
LOL

Well thank God it's only a spoon. It could have been a clinical thermometer. Which sent my temperature up a notch with laughing at your poem. Victor

Keep practicing the spoons...
