Dishwasher Licking Machine

When I'm done with supper
I want my dishes clean,
so I give them to my furry
Dishwasher Licking Machine.

I put all my dirty plates
on the kitchen floor.
He makes them sparkly shiney
and whines around for more.

He never licks my forks or knives
a cut he might incur.
I just soak them in his dish
and wipe them on his fur.

For a snack, no doggy bones
it's crystalware for him.
If you tried to wash a glass
He'd tear you limb from limb.

I know you might be thinking,
that this is a disgrace.
At least I don't let doggy
lick me on the face.

I lick my own plate, this does not please my wife, but as I tell her you do not have to wash it now.

Good humor as we've come to expect from you, Rusty!
I've seen a crazy cartoon such as you describe, but your words paint a more complete picture!

"At least I don't let doggy
lick me on the face."

What, you don't appreciate a good facial-scrub?

You've got a point there...don't want the dog licking me on the lips...cause well you know, I'll just stop right there, but I think I'll continue putting my dishes in the dishwasher...great and humorous write!
Blessings,
